Watery 'thank you'

Last January I wrote a letter to the editor pointing out that our Augusta commissioners need to get off their rear ends and approve a measure to ensure an adequate water supply in south Augusta.

The 20-inch pipe and "big" tank are in and we have not run out of water this summer. Keep the oddeven watering plan like it is, as conservation is necessary.

I just want to say, "Thank you, mayor and commissioners." It is a good feeling going to bed at night knowing we will have water in the morning.
