Mrs. Virginia Howell Johnson, 69, of West Kensington Drive, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Starling-Hatcher Funeral Home with the Revs. Greg Bentley, Monty Guice and Harold Richie officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Johnson, a native of Macon, had retired from Sky City and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wally Johnson; a son, James E. Howell Jr., Augusta; five daughters, Virginia Gaskill, Pat Williams, Barbara Baxley, Robin Diaz and Mickey Bentley, all of Augusta; four stepsons, David Johnson and Roger Johnson, both of Toccoa, Greg Johnson, Swainsboro, and Jerry Johnson, North Carolina; two stepdaughters, Loretta Pigg, Atlanta, and Melanie Smith, Clearwater; and 34 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Miguel Diaz, Chris Hensley, Stephen McNair, Jeff Miller, Tony McDonald and Johnny McDonald.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
