GROVETOWN - Mr. Joseph R. Morin, 68, of Fourth Avenue, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at his residence.
Graveside services with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. today at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Ken Bellinger officiating.
Mr. Morin, a native of Frenchville, Maine, had retired from the Army and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, during which he earned the Korean Service Ribbon with five Bronze Stars and one Overseas Bar, Good Conduct Medal, Sharpshooter (carbine), Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Senior Parachutist Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, Soldiers Medal and Gallantry Cross with Palm. He was Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Nadeau Morin; three sons, Michael Morin, Tucson, Ariz., Blaine Morin, Edgefield, S.C., and Gordon Morin, Dearing; three daughters, Pamela Summerlin, Grovetown, Karen White, Martinez, and Cynthia Dickson, Harlem; five sisters, Claudette Forsman, Camden, Maine, Connie Binkley, Reading, Pa., Rinette Draper, Utah, Linda Netzley, Ohio, and Jean Morin, Minnesota; and 12 grandchildren.
