BAINBRIDGE, Ga. -- Mrs. Gail Gilliam Poitevint, 48, of East College Street, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Oak City Cemetery with the Revs. Earl Barron and David Barrett officiating.
Mrs. Poinevint, a native of Chicago, was an employee of Bainbridge State Hospital. She was a graduate of University of Georgia and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Poitevint; a son, John Russell Poitevint, Bainbridge; two daughters, Mary Paige Poitevint and Kelly Dee poitevint, both of Bainbridge; her mother, Mary Ruth Gilliam, Bainbridge; a brother, Russell Lee Gilliam, Thomson; and a sister, Diane Gilliam LeRoy, Thomasville.
Pallbearers will be Lenny Widener, Forrest Elkins, Larry Elkins, Dennis Cliett, Troy Harrell and Steve Key.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Bainbridge State Hospital.
Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
