Mr. James Maxwell



DEARING - Mr. James Lyle Maxwell, 70, of Lokey Drive, died Sunday, June 18, 2000, at McDuffie Regional Medical Centers, Thomson.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, with Dr. Ron Drawdy officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson.

Mr. Maxwell, a native of Marion, Ohio, had retired as a service technician from Sears, Roebuck & Co. after 27 years. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Kray Maxwell; a son, David Lyle Maxwell, Thomson; two daughters, Debra Jones, Brandon, Fla., and Joyce Frankenfield, Thomson; a brother, Walter P. Maxwell, Hilton Head, S.C.; three sisters, Mary Porter and Joanne White, both of New Castle, Pa., and Donna Bailey, Solomons, Md.; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Maxwell, Michael Maxwell, H.G. Jones, James Porder, Richard Feltner and Bill Feltner.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
