Mr. G. Dalton Brown, 69, died Monday, June 19, 2000, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Platt's Funeral Home, North Belair Road, with Drs. Mark Harris and John Bryan officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Brown, a native of Augusta, had retired as a mechanical engineer from Gulf Mobile & Ohio Railroad. He was a graduate of Augusta Junior College and Georgia Institute of Technology. He was a member of Curtis Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Scott Brown; two sons, Larry Scott Brown, Columbus, Ohio, and Kenneth Dalton Brown, Atlanta; a daughter, Wendy Brown, Augusta; a sister, JoAnne Hargrove, Charlotte, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bo Blair, David O'Connor, Stuart Shuford, Dick Simons, Jim Trotman and Joe Ward.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Bill Fox Sunday School Class at Curtis Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
