BARNWELL, S.C. - Mr. Charlton Freddie Williams, 77, died Monday, May 22, 2000.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hagood Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Hodges officiating. Burial will be in Barnwell County Memory Gardens.
Mr. Williams, a native of Sycamore, S.C., had retired as a barber, had owned an engraving service and was an Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Dwain Charlton Williams and Gregory Freddie Williams, both of Barnwell; three brothers, Robbie Albert Williams, Barnwell, Kenneth Williams, Walterboro, and Jay Williams, Fairfax; a sister, Mary Alice Coxwell, Albany, Ga.; and three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Eric Williams, Tim Williams, Paul Harter, Charles Rich, Bobby Rich, Ricky Rich, Jerry Rich, Dwight Williams and Tony Williams.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Dyches Funeral Home.
