Mrs. Olivia Wolfe Mobley, 72, of Wayside Drive, died Monday, May 22, 2000, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Poteet Funeral Home, Peach Orchard Road, with the Rev. James Hyder and Dr. Robert L. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Mobley, a native of Lincoln County, was a homemaker and a member of Sunrisers of Mize Memorial United Methodist Church and Liberty United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Liberty United Methodist Women.
The family said: "She had strong faith, loved God, cherished her family and was a friend to many. She showed us how to live and to die."
Survivors include her husband, Vernon L. Mobley Sr.; two sons, Vernon L. Mobley Jr., Evans, and David H. Mobley, Augusta; a sister, Mary Wolfe Huffman, Evans; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Earl Horne, Theron Douglas, Chip Huffman, Wayne McKinney, Robert Richards and Milton Grimaud.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Liberty United Methodist Women and members of Sunrisers of Mize Memorial Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, GA 30904-4726.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
