WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mrs. Anne Wilkinson McClearen, 73, of Thomson Road, died Sunday, May 21, 2000, at Wills Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Washington United Methodist Church with the Revs. Chip Wilson, Elvyn McDonald and Joe Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Mrs. McClearen, a native of Wilkes County, had retired as a schoolteacher and was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, Gideon Auxiliary and First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of United Methodist Women.
Survivors include her husband, James McClearen; two daughters, Jann M. Jones, Ellenwood, and Lynn M. Connell, Washington; a brother, Howard Wilkinson Jr., Washington; four sisters, Hazel Sali, Boise, Idaho, Imogene Echols, Washington, Mary Lane Ayer, Lincolnton, and Jane Hutchinson, Senoia; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joda Wilkinson, Jim Hutchinson, Williams Echols, David Williams, Howard Wilkinson III, Fred Green and David McClearen.
Memorials may be made to Washington First United Methodist Church, 100 W. Liberty St., Washington, GA 30673; or to Gideon Society.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hopkins Funeral Home.
