PERKINS, Ga. - Mr. Wilbur R. Redd, 64, died Thursday, May 18, 2000, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Green Fork Baptist Church with the Revs. Charles Snook and Harry Sims officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Redd, a native of Jenkins County, had retired as a pressroom supervisor from Perfection Industries and was a member of Green Fork Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, a treasurer of brotherhood and a member of the senior adult Sunday school class.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Taylor Redd; a daughter, Charlotte R. Becton, Millen; two brothers, Harold Redd, Hephzibah, and Albert Redd, Augusta; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy Burke, Mickey Boynton, Johnny Herrington, Richard Ellison, Don Redd, Billy Joe James, Jerry Taylor and Ralph Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Green Fork Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home, Millen.
