Mr. Otis B. Copeland Jr., of Grand Boulevard, died Monday, May 15, 2000, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Springfield Baptist Church with the Rev. E.T. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mr. Copeland, a native of Alexandria, Ala., had retired from the Army and civil service. He was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, where he was a member of Deacon Board, the executive board and the male chorus.
Survivors include his wife, Algelee G. Copeland; a son, Otis Q. Copeland III, Atlanta; a daughter, Olivia Q. Copeland, New York; three brothers, James Copeland, Eddie Copeland and Linder Copeland, all of Alexandria; and a sister, Mildred Morgan, Jacksonville, Fla.
Pallbearers will be members of the Army.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons, deaconesses, trustees and members of the male chorus of Springfield Baptist Church.
Friends may call at the residence or at Dent's Undertaking Establishment.
