Mr. Aubrey Bohler



TIGNALL, Ga. - Mr. Rufus Aubrey Bohler, 85, of Danburg Road, died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at Wilkes Health Care Center, Washington.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with the Revs. DeWitt Waters and Allen Danner officiating.

Mr. Bohler, a lifelong resident of Lincoln County, had retired as a textile worker. He was a member of Civilian Conservation Corp. and Beulah Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Gene Bohler, Tignall; a daughter, Julia B. Thornton, Tignall; three brothers, Lindsey Bohler, Lincolnton, J.D. Bohler, Evans, and Theral Bohler, Tignall; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jack Armour, Lyn Armour, Tracey Armour, Greg Armour, Boyce Hall and Buck Echols.

Memorials may be made to Beulah Baptist Church, c/o Charles Daniel, 1175 Pistol Creek Road, Tignall, GA 30668.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hopkins Funeral Home, Washington.
