Mrs. Ethel Reneau



Mrs. Ethel Batchelor Reneau, 80, of Fenwick Street, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at Beverly Manor Convalescent Center.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bible Deliverance Temple with the Revs. H.K. Knight and Guy Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. Reneau, a native of Gaffney, S.C., had retired as a weaver. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Bible Deliverance Temple.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean Phillips, Augusta; a brother, Tincy Batchelor, Gaffney; a sister, Estella Pennington, Blacksburg, S.C.; and two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Paul Phillips, Tommy Ginn, Donald Davis, George Webb, Brian Cowart, Paul Amerson and Jimmy Murry.

Memorials may be made to Bible Deliverance Temple, 1857 Fenwick St., Augusta, GA 30904.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Platt's Funeral Home, Crawford Avenue.
