GULFPORT, Miss. - Mr. Clarence Coleman, 64, of Eighth Street, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Williams Grove Holiness Church, Swainsboro, Ga., with the Rev. Robert Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Swainsboro City Cemetery, Swainsboro.
Mr. Coleman, a native of Emanuel County, Ga., had retired from the Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Jefferson Davis College, a former employee of Gulfport Naval Base and a member of Williams Grove Holiness Church.
Survivors include a son, Armon Coleman, Gulfport; two stepsons, Greg Jackson and Walter Jackson, both of Gulfport; his mother, Lucille Coleman, Swainsboro; five brothers, John Coleman, Watus Coleman, Arthur Coleman and Paul Coleman, all of Swainsboro, and Robert Coleman, Trenton, N.J.; and two sisters, Geraldine Durden and Alice Foots, both of Swainsboro.
Pallbearers will be Archie Dukes, Paul Weaver, Moses Archie, Rodney Cheeks, Homer Walden and Bob McMillin.
Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews.
Friends may call at the residence of Armon Coleman.
Reno Tapley Mortuary, Swainsboro, is in charge of arrangements.
