Mr. Marvin Roberson



WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mr. Marvin Leon Roberson, 38, of Idlewood Drive, died Monday, May 8, 2000, at Burke County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. James Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Roberson, a native of Burke County, was a farm laborer and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include two stepsons, Travis Coleman and Reggie Penney, both of Waynesboro; his mother, Beulah Roberson, Waynesboro; a brother, Christopher Roberson, Waynesboro; and five sisters, Lessie R. Scales, Evanston, Ill., Evonne Brown, Augusta, Joyce King, Atlanta, and Portia M. Roberson and Detris Jenkins, both of Waynesboro.

Pallbearers will be Henry Scott, Alonzo Lovette, Michael Washington, Ravin Washington, James Sherman and Donald Brown.

Friends may call at the residence of Beulah Roberson, 1686 Idlewood Drive; or at Phinazee and Son Funeral Home.
