FAIRFAX, S.C. - Mr. Willie Lagree Johns, 68, died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Smith-Rhoden Funeral Home, Allendale. Burial will be in Swallow Savannah Cemetery, Allendale.
Mr. Johns, a native of Allendale County, had retired from Milliken Co., Barnwell, and co-owned and operated BP Stop-and-Go, Sycamore, Shell Stop-and-Go, Allendale, and Bea's Nightclub, Sycamore. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Wilson Johns; a daughter, Willie Jean Johns DeLoach, Furman; three brothers, Gordon Johns, Fairfax, Grady Johns, Keiser, Ariz., and E.P. Johns, Summerville; four sisters, Carolyn Piekelniak, Edgefield, Annie Mae Turner, Nixville, and Lucille Stokes and Louise Bryan, both of Johnston; and four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
