Three Columbia County soccer players will sign with Brewton Parker College today at Greenbrier High. Greenbrier seniors Lindsay Carter and goalkeeper Kelly Mosely will join Evans standout Elizabeth Durham in signing letters of intent to play for the NAIA school in Mount Vernon, Ga.
Carter and Mosely helped lead the Lady Wolfpack to back-to-back seasons in the state playoffs, while Durham was a key member of Evans's Area 2 runner-up team.
Tre Dyson hit for the cycle and drove in six runs as No. 1 South Carolina scored three runs in the ninth to rally for a 10-9 victory over Duke.
Dyson hit a three-run homer in the seventh, an RBI single in the third, a double in the fifth and a two-run triple in the ninth.
Peter Bauer (10-1) picked up the win for the Gamecocks (47-6), who trailed 9-4 after five innings before rallying for three runs in the seventh and three more in the ninth in posting their 16th come-from-behind win.
South Carolina coach Lou Holtz will be the featured speaker tonight at the spring meeting of the Gamecock Club. The 6:30 p.m. meeting is being held at USC Aiken's gym and tickets are $5. Gamecock Clubs from Aiken, Augusta, Bamberg, Barnwell, Edgefield, McCormick, Newberry and Saluda are co-hosting the event.

Georgia Tech junior Alvin Jones, who was projected to be a possible late first-round selection in the upcoming NBA draft, will stay for his senior season, the school said.
Jones, a 6-foot-11, 265-pound center, has the third-highest career blocks per game average in ACC history (3.47). He averaged 9.7 points and 8.0 rebounds last season, coach Bobby Cremins' final one as the Yellow Jackets finished a disappointing 13-17.
As a sophomore, Jones averaged 12.7 points and 9.7 rebounds and made the honorable mention all-Atlantic Coast Conference team. He is a two-time member of the ACC all-defensive team.
