Finally we can put the Elian Gonzalez situation to rest, at least in the Central Savannah River Area, because Paul Cook has weighed in (letter, April 29).
He was not as precise with the details of the actual event as in the past when he told us how to view the Clinton impeachment, child rearing, animal control, lock and dam, gun control, etc., but he did make one thing perfectly clear:
President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, Attorney General Janet Reno, Mr. Cook and fellow travelers -- good; Republicans -- bad. Not much new there, but I did learn something. I am part of a white supremacy organization. I wonder if that is worse than being part of a vast right-wing conspiracy?
