Mrs. Lucille Padgett



LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Lucille Johnson Padgett, 83, of Augusta Highway, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Morningside Baptist Church with the Revs. Albert Stroup and Joe Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown.

Mrs. Padgett, a native of Jefferson County, had retired as a nursing assistant from Medical College of Georgia Hospital. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Coley L. Padgett Jr., Lincolnton, and Douglas Wayne Padgett, Aiken; a daughter, Peggy E. Ford, Augusta; a sister, Vesta Siebert, Tennessee; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Norman, George Fletcher, Thomas Kea, Richard Butler, Charles Wood and Johnny Freeman.

Friends may call at the residence.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Beggs Funeral Home.
