Mr. Joseph Moog



Mr. Joseph B. "Joe" Moog, 87, of Poindexter Drive, died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at Doctors Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Platt's Funeral Home, Crawford Avenue, with the Rev. Clarence Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.

Mr. Moog, a native of Augusta, was the founder of Moog Sign Co. He was a charter member of Forest Hills Golf Association and a member of Druid Park Bible Church.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine C. Moog; a son, Robert Bernard Moog, Martinez; a daughter, Virginia M. Trapp, Augusta; a brother, Sam Moog, Atlanta; and six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Russell Trapp, Rusty Trapp Jr., Michael Trapp, Steve Pye, Brandon Trapp, Scott Pollock, Ken Pollock and Roger Pollock.

Memorials may be made to Druid Park Bible Church, 1005 Druid Park Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.

Friends may call at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
