Mr. Robert C. Freeman, of Oak Street, died Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at William B. Bell Auditorium with the Rev. Kenneth T. Clay officiating. Burial will be in Community Cemetery, Beech Island.
Mr. Freeman, a native of Sussex County, Va., had retired from Thermal Ceramics Co. after 26 years and was a member of Southland Quartet, The Mighty Revelaires, Soul Wonders and Hazel Grove Baptist Church, Beech Island.
Survivors include three sons, Robert I. Freeman, Atlanta, Michael Freeman, Augusta, and Anthony Freeman, Fort Stewart; two daughters, Tina Livingston and Joanne Freeman, both of Augusta; his mother, Mary B. Freeman, Yale, Va.; three brothers, Joseph Freeman and Harland Freeman, both of Philadelphia, and Eddie Freeman, Petersburg, Va.; six sisters, Mattie Glisson, Jean Hill, Mary E. Freeman and Jean C. Freeman, all of Philadelphia, and Mildred Hines and Dorothy Clinkscales, both of Yale; and 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
