AIKEN - Mr. Murray A. Kneece, 68, of Mixon Road, died Monday, May 1, 2000, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Aiken Memorial Park with the Revs. Mark Watford and Kenneth DeLoach officiating.
Mr. Kneece, a native of Aiken County, had retired from Suburban Propane and the Coast Guard. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10601 and American Legion, Columbia. He was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mozelle Fox Kneece; two sons, Jim Kneece, Aiken, and Gene Busbee, Greenwood; seven daughters, Donna Smith, Clearwater, Cheryl Porterfield, Ludowici, Ga., Lynn DeLoach, Warner Robins, Ga., and Amy West, Vickey Beckham, Lois Kneece and Carolyn Anderson, all of Greenwood; two brothers, Ethridge Kneece, Trenton, and Leroy Carroll, Pontiac; two sisters, Girlie Kneece, Windsor, and Mildred Lowe, El Centro, Calif.; and 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Canty, Robert Kneece, Eddie Cook, Cleve West, James Barron and Gene Busbee.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Napier Funeral Home, Graniteville.
