Mrs. Doris Youngblood



SWAINSBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Doris Spell Youngblood, 72, died Sunday, April 30, 2000, at Emanuel County Nursing Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ronnie Wills and Benjie Varnell officiating. Burial will be in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

Mrs. Youngblood had retired as co-owner and operator of True Value Hardware and as a schoolteacher. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Methodist Women's Bible Study Group.

Survivors include her husband, William A. Youngblood Jr.; a son, Williams A. Youngblood III, Swainsboro; a brother, Adolph Spell, Macon; three sisters, Wynell Odom, Lyons, Dorothy Fields, McRae, and Edna Johnson, Atlanta; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
