LOUISVILLE, Ga. -- Mr. Johnny E. Lowery, 42, of Peachtree Street, died Monday, April 24, 2000, at Jefferson Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Holloway officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lowery, a native of Jefferson County, was a farmer, a 1978 graduate of Louisville High School and a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
The family said: "Johnny was a fun person with a personality that made him a joy to be around. He was a friend to all he was around."
Survivors include his wife, Ruby B. Lowery; two sons, Kowalski T. Lowery, Louisville, and Cornelius Kitchens, Davisboro; a daughter, Sabrina Kitchens; a stepdaughter, Kewanna S. Lowery; his father, William H. Lowery, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; his mother, Ruby K. Lowery, Louisville; a brother, Ronnie Lowery, Macon; and a sister, Teresa Ann English, Louisville.
Pallbearers will be Kent Heath, Jimmy Heath, Willie Ruff, Leroy Ruff, Eli Harmon Jr. and Arenzo Ruff.
Friends may call at the residence or at the funeral home.
