Mr. William J. Carrick, 80, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Gerardo officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mr. Carrick, a native of Heidelburg, Pa., had retired as a cleaning department supervisor and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mae Carrick; two sons, George Howell Carrick, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and James M. Carrick, Augusta; three daughters, Brenda Findlay, Marietta, Ruth Thomas, Martinez, and Mary Ellen Hill, Peach Tree City; a brother, Bernard Carrick, Bridgeville, Pa.; two sisters, Hazel Kosek and Wendolyn Carrick, both of Carnegie, Pa.; and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be William D. Findlay, James J. Findlay, William R. Thomas Jr., Brendan J. Thomas, Chandler M. Hill, Christopher J. Carrick and Chad W. Carrick.

Platt's Funeral Home, Crawford Avenue, is in charge of arrangements.
