In spite of The Chronicle's radical right-wing criticism of Attorney General Janet Reno's action in Miami, I am thankful, as are most Americans, for what she did to rescue a 6-year-old boy and reunite him with the only person on the face of the earth who has the God-given right to decide his future: his dad.
And even though Ms. Reno is one of the best attorneys general I can recall, this criticism of her does not come as a surprise, because there is a white supremacy organization in our country that will criticize anyone in the Clinton administration no matter what they do.
The rescue in Miami gave our nation an opportunity to pull together in a nonpartisan way, but this organization has proven again that it is not interested in working cooperatively for the well-being of America. It is only interested in finding fault with President Clinton, and I can assure you that they will pursue Al Gore, if he's elected president, with the same level of false propaganda and demonization.
By the way, the organization I'm referring to is the Republican Party whose acronym GOP means the "Garbage Of Politics." I urge everyone to support the Democratic Party for the good of this great country we have been blessed with.
