LINCOLNTON, Ga. -- Mrs. Edith Mae Hearst, 80, of Hearst-Cebo Road, died Tuesday, April 25, 2000, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Parks and the Revs. Roy D. Andrews, Jackson Parks and Dennis Quinn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hearst, a native of Lincoln County, was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she was a member of Women's Missionary Society.
Survivors include six sons, Gyp Hearst Jr., Murray Hearst, Johnny G. Hearst, Eddie Hearst, George Hearst and Jerry Hearst, all of Lincolnton; three daughters, Elsie Calhoun, Martinez, Josie Hearst, Augusta, and Brenda Bush, Hephzibah; a brother, Fred Zellars, Sumter, S.C.; a sister, Effie J. Blackwell, Macon; and 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her sons.
Friends may call at the residence or at Norris W. Gunby Sr. Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
