Mrs. Willie Oliphant

AIKEN - Mrs. Willie Mae Oliphant, 69, of Steeple Chase, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at Pepper Hill Nursing Home.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Slaughter officiating. Burial will be in Jessamine Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Oliphant, a native of Aiken, was a foster grandparent for Millbrooks Elementary School and was a member of Second Baptist Church, where she was a member of the usher board.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Hurley, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Michael Hurley, Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Regina Johnson, Aiken; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Willard Lyde, Robert McCullough, Robert Johnson, Ozzie Walker and McDonald Walker.

Friends may call at the residence of Regina Johnson, 72 Converse Drive, Aiken; or at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home.
