Mrs. Annie Simmons



AIKEN - Mrs. Annie K. Simmons, 65, of Aldrich Street, died Monday, April 17, 2000, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Young Rosemary Baptist Church, Williston, with the Revs. Phinizy Young and Reginald Grimes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Simmons, a native of Williston, was a member of Young Rosemary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ulysses Simmons Sr.; four sons, Ulysses A. Simmons Jr., and Roderick S. Simmons, both of Aiken, Timothy T. Simmons, Tallahassee, Fla., and Patrick Waters, Frederick, Md.; two daughters, Debra A. Simmons Jackson and Carolyn L. Simmons, both of Aiken; five brothers, Robert Key, Aiken, Alonzo Key, Jamaica, N.Y., and Herman Key, Jack Key Jr. and Winchester Key, all of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four sisters, Betty Brayboy, Philadelphia, Louise Key, Brooklyn, Helen Hamilton, Aiken, and Margaret Cummings, Jamaica, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence or at Simmons Funeral Home, Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home.

Simmons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
