NEW ELLENTON -- Mr. Walter Kendrick, 75, died Friday, April 7, 2000, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Aiken Memorial Gardens, Aiken, with the Rev. Tommy Braswell officiating.
Mr. Kendrick, a native of Pike County, Ky., had worked for Kentucky Railroad and DuPont. He was a shriner and a member of New Ellenton Masonic Lodge. He was Christian.
The family said: "He enjoyed working on small engines. He could fix anything."
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Keith Kendrick, Ashland, Ky.; two daughters, Belinda Watson, Ardmore, Ala., and Cassandra Gilpin, Pikeville, Ky.; a brother, Lowell Kendrick, New Ellenton; two sisters, Lois Busbee, Wagener, and Donna Robinson, New Ellenton; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 1003 Hammond Road, Aiken, SC 29803; or to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box K, Aiken, SC 29802.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Robinson, Jackie Kendrick, Gary Kendrick, Rusty Hutson, Chip Poston and Ed Heuck.
Friends may call at the residence of Lowell Kendrick, 230 George Ave.
