LANGLEY - Mr. Louis Jack O'Shields, 69, of Jackson Street, died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Hatcher Funeral Home with the Revs. Helen Black and Eddie Moyer officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville.
Mr. O'Shields, a native of Bath, retired from Clearwater Finishing Plant and was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of National Rifle Association and Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Carla Ward and Jackie Johnson, Langley; a stepson, Thomas David Smalley, West Columbia; three brothers, Terry O'Shields, Clearwater and Jerry O'Shields and Gene O'Shields, both of Bath; a sister, Ruth O'Shields Smith, Burnettown; and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Smalley, David Smalley, Tom Smalley, Michael Smalley, Jon Smalley and Robbie Kissiah.
