TENNILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Martha Brown Garner, 70, of Stephens Road, died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Sandersville.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at May and Smith Funeral Home, Sandersville, with Revs. J. Emory Lindsey and Danny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Zeta Cemetery.
Mrs. Garner, a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, was a homemaker and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include five sons, Jerry Lee Garner, James Garner and Johnny Garner, all of Tennille, Jack Garner Sr., Oconee, and Joe Garner, Harrison; three daughters, Ann G. Miller, Bartow, and Gail G. Harrison and Kathy G. Dukes, both of Dublin; a brother, James H. Brown, Milledgeville; a sister, Mary B. Cochran, Oconee; and 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry McGraw Jr., Chad Harrison, Jack Garner Sr., Jack Garner Jr., John Garner Jr. and E.K. May.

Friends may call at the residence of James Garner, Stephens Road.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
