WADLEY, Ga. - Mr. John Miggle Walden, 86, of Butts Street, died Thursday, March 29, 2000, at the residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Brinson Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. David Kemp officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Walden, a native of Wadley, was a self-employed yard maintenance worker. He was a member of Brinson Hill Baptist Church, where he was church treasurer and chairman of Deacon Board.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosena Walden Lattimore, Wadley; a brother, Willie Walden, Augusta; two sisters, Mildred Lewis, Harrisburg, Pa., and Essie Lawrence, Newark, N.J.; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Willie Randall, Curtis Tarver, Tyrone Danford, John Patterson and Steve Hinkins.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Brinson Hill Baptist Church.
Friends may call at the residence at 183 Butts St., or at Hudson Mortuary.
