Mrs. Nellie Parrish



DEARING -- Mrs. Nellie Parrish, 85, of Luckeys Bridge Road, died Friday, March 31, 2000, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fort Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Royce Godfrey and Todd Upchurch officiating. Burial will be in Adams Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Parrish, a native of McDuffie County, had retired as a seamstress and was a homemaker. She attended Fort Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Parrish, Savannah, and James Parrish, New Ellenton; a daughter, Betty Hillman, Dearing; a sister, Martha Taylor, Dearing; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Randy Shepard, Stanley Parrish, Don McCorkle, Danny Hillman, Jack McCorkle and Daryl Smoldt.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Fort Creek Baptist Church senior ladies Sunday school class.

Friends may call at the residence or at Curtis Funeral Home, Thomson.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
