WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mrs. Selma Graves Broome, 93, of South Alexander Avenue, died Friday, March 24, 2000, at Wills Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Baptist Church, Lincolnton, with the Revs. Paul Reviere and Seaborn Dell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Broome, a native of Lincoln County, was a homemaker and the oldest member of Greenwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Lawrence Broome and John Milton Broome, both of Washington, Thad Broome and Franklin Broome, both of Macon, and Glenn Broome, Madison; and 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mit Broome, Al Broome, Richie Broome, Ben Broome, Johnny Broome, Tad Broome and Zachary Broome.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hopkins Funeral Home.
