AIKEN - Mrs. Evangerline Thomas Drummings, 65, of Carriage Hill Place, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Springfield Baptist Church, Eureka, with the Rev. Leander Jones officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Drummings, a native of Camden, had retired from Smith Kline Beecham Clinical Labs. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Drummings; three sons, Jimmy Thomas, Joe Alvin Thomas and Ralph Edward Thomas, all of Aiken; three daughters, Louise Blocker, JoAnn Thomas-Stone and Cephia Jean Thomas, all of Aiken; six brothers, Allen Thomas Sr., Marion Thomas and Jack Thomas, all of Newark, N.J., Larry Thomas Sr. and Donald Thomas, both of Aiken, and John Henry Thomas, North Augusta; five sisters, Elise Cooper and Shirley Thomas, both of Newark, Annie M. Perrin, North Augusta, Lucille Jackson, Aiken, and Mary Jane Carroll, Augusta; and 36 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence of Cephia Thomas, 72 JoAnn Place.
