Mr. Desmond D. Prince, of Chestnut Street, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at University Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Marion Williams officiating. Burial will be in First Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Prince, a native of Augusta, was a former cook.
Survivors include his father, Otis Prince, Aiken; his mother, Linda Gail Prince, Augusta; two sisters, Toya Prince, Lancaster, Calif., and Kenya Prince, Augusta; a stepsister, Charmaine Roberson, Augusta; two stepbrothers, Mario Roberson and Dwayne Roberson, both of Augusta; and his maternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Dorothy P. Blakely.
Friends may call at the residence or at Williams Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
