SANTO DA SERRA, Madeira -- Niclas Fasth went five-under par on the first six holes and finished with a 68 to take a two-stroke lead into the final round of the Madeira Island Open.
The 27-year-old Swede, seeking his first European tour victory, had three birdies and an eagle to open up a five shot lead before three bogeys caused him to fall back.
Fasth, who has led all three rounds, finished 10-under overall at 206, two shots ahead of England's Jim Payne who also shot 68 Saturday and three ahead of Sweden's Raimo Sjoberg who had a 70.
