Dr. Henry Allen Williams, 66, of Evans, died Wednesday, March 1, 2000, at his residence.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Augusta First Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be private.
Dr. Williams, a native of McMinnville, Tenn., was a dentist and professor at Medical College of Georgia. He was course director for the Dental Ceramics and Esthetics in Restorative Dentistry courses, member of board of directors and president of the MCG Dental Foundation, vice president of American Academy of Dental Electrosurgery, and a member of National Association of Seventh Day Adventist Dentists. He was awarded the Most Outstanding Faculty Award, Certificate of Special Appreciation and the Certificate of Recognition from American Dental Association. He authored and co-authored many journal articles, books and abstracts. He made several trips to Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico for dental missions and to Thailand for dental relief work in the refugee camps.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Williams; a son, Jeff A. Williams, Evans; two daughters, Linda K. Meister, Evans, and Brenda L. Williams, Atlanta; four brothers, Robert Williams, Bud Williams and Eden Williams, all of McMinnville, and Fred Williams, Calico Rock, Ark.; a sister, Irene Cramer, Yellwood, Fla.; and a grandchild.

Friends may call at the funeral home or the residence.
