UNION POINT, Ga. -- Mrs. Carrie G. Caldwell, of South Rhodes Street, died Wednesday, March 1, 2000, at Boswell Parker Health Care Services.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Colon Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Caldwell, a native of Wilkes County, had retired as a textile looper from Chipman-Union Manufacturing. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Hillman Caldwell; a son, Jerry Caldwell, Conyers; a brother, Lewis Griffith, Monroe; a sister, Sara Channell, Union Point; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Allen Griffith, Ellis Amerson, Gerald Cronic, Johnny Griffith, Gerald Strozier and John Osborne.
