Gamecocks three-hit Delaware State



COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Four South Carolina pitchers held Delaware State to three hits and Tripp Kelly and Drew Meyer had home runs in the Gamecocks 9-1 victory Sunday.

Brett Price (1-0) allowed a hit in four innings for the win as the Gamecocks improved their record to 8-0.

Meyer also had a RBI double in South Carolina's three-run third inning. His homer, the second of the year, was a three-run shot in the eighth inning.

Starter Mike OiDea took the loss for Delaware State.
