Limestone College doubled the hit count on Augusta State on Saturday, but the Jaguars outscored the visitors 13-9 in college baseball.
A seven-run explosion in the sixth inning did the trick for Augusta State (7-4). The Jaguars went into the inning trailing 9-6, thanks to three Limestone home runs. Limestone stranded 14 baserunners.
Evan Hochstetler got the victory for the Jaguars after coming into the game in the fifth inning.
The two teams conclude their series today at 1 p.m. at the ASU athletic complex on Wrightsboro Road.
