Mr. Robert Brassell



NORWICH, Conn. -- Mr. Robert P. Brassell, 65, of Plumtree Drive, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mr. Brassell, a native of Augusta, was a project coordinator for Bailey-Staub Co. He was a Navy veteran and a member of USS Fulton Association and American Society of Insignia Collectors. He was a coach for youth baseball and basketball teams. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Heebner Brassell; two sons, Robert J. Brassell, Wallingford, and William M. Brassell, Groton; his mother, Rhetta B. Parker, Augusta; a brother, Joseph R. Brassell, Augusta; a sister, Joyce B. Scheitlin, Blowing Rock, N.C.; and a grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 181 Elizabeth St., Norwich, CT 06360; or to Hospice of Southeast Connecticut, 179 Gallivan Lane, Uncasville, CT 06382.
