Miss Estelle Stribling



MACON -- Miss Estelle Stribling, 91, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, in Fort Valley.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hephzibah Baptist Church, Lincolnton, with the Rev. Allen Danner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Miss Stribling, a native of Lincoln County, had retired from Lincoln County as a schoolteacher after 25 years. She also had taught at Agnes Barden Elementary School. She received her bachelor of arts and a master of arts in special education degrees from University of Georgia, Athens. She was a member of Delta Kappa Phi sorority and Hephzibah Baptist Church.

Survivors include two cousins, William Norman and Iris Norman, Lincolnton.

Pallbearers will be Albert Crook, D.T. Danner, Mark Hill, Bill Norman, J.T. Paradise, Ben Scott, Gene Scott and Tommy Teasley.

Friends may call at Snow's Memorial Chapel.

Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton, is in charge of local arrangements.
