Says Congress is `lawless' group

Surfing down the "information highway" of satellites and optic cables, an amazing amount of information is available about dubious organizations and corporate welfare. Putting together the bits and pieces, a mosaic of lawlessness and immorality comes to light!

One of these organizations, employing over 500 men and women, most of whom are lawyers and former judges, is typical of unconscionable arrogance of power! Even though all of these men and women are highly paid and enjoy lavish benefits, some of them are greedy, unscrupulous and of questionable character.

Seventy one of them cannot get a credit card due to bad credit; 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges; 27 have been accused of spousal abuse; seven were arrested for fraud; 117 have bankrupted at least two businesses; eight have been arrested for shoplifting; three have been arrested for assault; 21 are current defendants in lawsuits. In 1998 alone, 84 were stopped for drunk driving and this does not include womanizing, passing bad checks and cheating on their spouses!

Lo and Behold! The organization just described is none other than our exalted and "honorable" U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.

Yes, fellow Americans, these are the same people who self-righteously make the laws that you and I must honor and obey.
