Mrs. Annie Fanning



THOMSON -- Mrs. Annie Sue Fanning, 95, of Dogwood Drive, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2000, at McDuffie County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Curtis Funeral Home with the Rev. Patrick Shannon officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.

Mrs. Fanning, a native of Wilkes County, had retired as a schoolteacher. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Camellia Garden Club. She was a member of Thomson First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Althen Sunday School Class.

Survivors include three brothers, Edgar Fanning, Augusta, John W. Fanning, Evans, and James C. Fanning, Clemson, S.C.; and two sisters, Mary Fanning and Sara Hunt, both of Thomson.

Friends may call at the residence or at the funeral home.
