Mr. R. Ralph Skinner



SYLVANIA, Ga. -- Mr. R. Ralph Skinner, 66, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bay Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Roan Powell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Skinner, a native of Screven County, had retired as a farmer. He was an Army veteran and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Bragg Skinner; a son, Randy Skinner, Keysville; a daughter, Pam S. Griner, Newnan; a brother, Cecil Skinner, Sylvania; two sisters, Mae S. Olsen, Sylvania, and Adell S. Smith, Hopewell, Va.; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Oglesby, Warren Stafford, Bud Hughes, James Bragg, Thomas Hughes and Micky Powell.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thomson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
