BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Mrs. Virginia Coker Jackson, 69, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, at Kingsbrook Medical Center, Brooklyn.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. at Harmonia Baptist Church, Varnville, S.C. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson, a native of Hampton County, was a member of Harmonia Baptist Church, Varnville, and attended Shiloh Baptist Church, Brooklyn. She was a graduate of North District Training School and Denmark Area Trade School of Cosmetology, Denmark, S.C.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Jackson; a daughter, Shirley Jackson, Brooklyn; two brothers, Jim Eddie Coker Sr., Fairfax, S.C., and Howard Coker, Varnville; three sisters, Anna Bell Coker, Varnville, Willie Dell Coker, Bronx, and Merita C. Anthony, Brooklyn.
Friends may call at the residence of Anna Bell Coker, Henderson Highway, Varnville.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Washington's Funeral Home, Hampton.
