EDGEFIELD, S.C. -- Mr. Cecil B. Bryan Jr., 74, of U.S. Highway 25 North, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at Edgefield County Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Little Stevens Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Wade Burton officiating.
Mr. Bryan, a native of Edgefield County, had retired from DuPont. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of Berea Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon and Sunday school superintendent.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Willing Bryan; a brother, Alvin Bryan, North Augusta; and two sisters, Sara Green, Aiken, and Virginia Gilchrist, Winston-Salem, N.C.
Pallbearers will be Terry Willing, Tim Temple, Ricky Temple, Brent Willing, Eddie Pace, Al Bryan, Ernest Bryan and Dixon Bryan.
Memorials may be made to Berea Baptist Church or Little Stevens Creek Baptist Church.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
