Mr. Norman Brown



Mr. Norman Brown, 77, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Doctors Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Platt's Funeral Home, Crawford Avenue, with Father Daniel McAughey officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.

Mr. Brown, a native of Wagener, was a sheet-metal worker for Plunkett Heating and Air Conditioning. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Arrington Brown; three daughters, Donna Patricia Powe, Aiken, Norma Anne Drew, Augusta, and Sandra Kitchens, Hephzibah; two sisters, Geneva Ward, Martinez, and Mary Smith, Augusta; and 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Fred Powe, Edward Carothers, Mark Plunkett, Todd Kitchens, Olin Plunkett and Charles Holbrook.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
